FAQ
Are all paintings shown for sale?

There are many more paintings for sale than may be displayed on this website, and not all those on the website are currently for sale. Please contact the artist about a specific painting. She can also send photocopies of other paintings to interested collectors who find that a painting they want to buy is already sold.

Are paintings framed or unframed?

Some oils are already framed and some are unframed. All watercolors and pastels are matted and protected, either by framing with glass or, if unframed, with shrink-wrap. Some collectors prefer to take artwork to their own framer. Please ask the artist if you prefer an unframed picture to be framed (at an additional charge).

Do you accept commissions?

Yes, commissions are accepted, depending upon time and subject matter.

What are the terms?

Commissions require a standard deposit of 50%, due at the signing of an agreement specifying the details of the commission. A rough sketch is then submitted by the artist for the buyer’s approval. The balance is due upon delivery.

General painting sales require payment in advance by cashier’s check or money order. If shipping is required, charges for shipping and insurance will be paid by the buyer and included in the advance payment. Arrangements can be made for pick-up by contacting the artist.

Do you allow paintings to be taken on approval?

Very rarely are paintings taken on approval and then only under specific conditions. Every effort is made to ensure that colors on the website are as true as possible, and measurements given as either the image size, or framed size, for accurate placement on wall space.
